RAS function, which detects signs of

malfunction.

Because the manufacturing process at 〔C〕 Factory generates dust and steam, a

computer requiring the use of a keyboard cannot easily be brought on site. Thus,

the PS-3710A was introduced. This compact computer equipped with a touch

panel eliminates both concern over damage to a keyboard and the need for drip

or dust-proof equipment. Furthermore, HDD-less offers superior reliability.

Finally, we were able to build a strong production system at a site with a harmful

environment, for which even maintenance does not require opening up the

computer thanks to a front-mounted USB.

With PS-3710A, we can introduce a smooth production

control system without the trouble of setting up

equipment specifically for dust and drip prevention.

〔D〕manufacturer experienced successive HDD trouble with the PC on-site, possibly

due to the harsh conditions of its continuous operation. Stopping the equipment

each time for repair caused a great loss. As a result of careful consideration

PL-3000B was introduced. With its "Software Mirror Utility", this model makes it

possible to constantly mirrored HDD data from two HDDs［RAID1］ without a

burden on CPU. In the case that trouble occurs on either HDD, it is possible to

exchange the HDD cartridge without stopping the line, thus successfully

reducing outage time and substantially improving the line's rate of operation.

Succeeded in avoiding HDD trouble incidents beforehand

at site of continuous operation with PL-3000B,

in order to reduce interruption time of production line.
